Design Direction is a design firm in Fargo, ND that specializes in residential design and small commercial design. Design Direction also has a retail showroom for a various amount of products such as carpet, tile, wood flooring, upholstery, window treatments, and blinds. This internship exceeded my personal expectations. I was given tasks I did not expect but they helped me grow as a designer quite profoundly. . I believe the company is built on strong values and relationships with other area professionals and respects the uniqueness and desires of every client that walks through their doors.  I gained a variety of new skills through this internship including checking in freight, budgeting skills, and preparing proposals.
